iDEN On Mobile Access DAS
Problem: Unable to maintain iDEN calls on a Mobile Access DAS.
Fix: Found good service with iDEN disabled on the DAS. Probably fighting with the macro.

Shut down the iDEN side of the repeater. CDMA is still on. iDEN on A level in the parking garage -78/28 161-e1 (Site TX0001)
Called Jerry and had him check with some of his on the iDEN phones and I would meet him in the lobby. iDEN -68/29 161-e1. When I met Jerry in the and he said they can already see a dramatic improvement. They could hold a call and no muting. I told him to let’s leave it like it is for a week to see if there are any dead spots. If there are we can have American Tower enable the iDEN on the DAS in those areas only.
I will be back out here Friday to remove a temporary 4G system in their convention center across the street. I can ask him then to how the calls have been going.
